Recent Wells & Water Projects

A well is mostly invisible once it's finished — which is a shame, because the work that goes into it is the whole point. Here's some of it above ground.

  • New 320-foot residential water well drilled on a rural property in Salado, Texas
    Drilling

    New 320-ft residential well

    Salado, TX

Cased in steel to 60 feet, grouted to surface, completed in the Trinity sand at 320 feet. Two days on site.

  • Constant pressure system controller and pressure tank installed in a garage in Georgetown, Texas
    Pumps

    Constant-pressure system upgrade

    Georgetown, TX

Variable-speed drive on an existing 15-year-old well. Same water, steady 60 PSI at every fixture.

  • A glass of rusty orange-brown well water before treatment
The same glass filled with clear, treated well water after a filtration system was installed
    BeforeBefore & After

    Rusty water fixed

    Killeen, TX

4.8 ppm dissolved iron. Oxidation filter ahead of the softener took it to non-detectable.

  • High-capacity agricultural irrigation well head in a Central Texas pasture
    Irrigation

    High-capacity irrigation well

    Coryell County, TX

Sized against a 24-hour drawdown test so it still holds up in year twenty, not just year one.

  • Technician lifting a submersible well pump on drop pipe during an emergency replacement
    Pumps

    Emergency pump replacement

    Temple, TX

Called at 6 a.m., water back on by lunch. The old pump had been down there since 2009.

  • Properly abandoned and plugged old water well capped with cement
    Water Treatment

    Old well safely plugged

    Belton, TX

An open casing behind the barn is a straight pipe into the aquifer. Sealed to state spec and filed.

Hover or focus the before/after tile to see the treated water. All photography on this demo site is illustrative.
