Demo

This is a design sample. Sterling Ridge is a fictional company — every name, number and review here is illustrative. Want a site like this?

Accessibility

This site was built to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility was a build requirement here, not a retrofit.

What that means in practice

  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • Text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, in both the light and the dark sections of the site
  • Headings follow a sequential structure so screen reader users can navigate by landmark
  • All meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
  • Animation is disabled entirely when the operating system reports a reduced-motion preference
  • Form fields have persistent visible labels, and errors are announced and linked to the field they belong to
  • Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels
  • Page zoom to 200% does not break layout or hide content

Standards

The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is never finished, and automated tools only catch a portion of what matters, so this is treated as ongoing rather than achieved.

Found a barrier?

On a live site, a report to office@sterlingridgewell.com would be treated as a defect and prioritized accordingly. On this demo, that address is not monitored.
