Kinds of water well drilling
Residential Wells
The everyday workhorse: a 4- or 5-inch cased well sized to a household's real demand, typically 200 to 400 feet in our area. Includes pump, pressure tank, controls, and hookup to the house.
Commercial Wells
Higher-capacity wells for shops, schools, RV parks, and small water systems, with the flow testing and documentation your permitting authority will ask for.
Deep Rock & Bedrock Wells
Where the shallow water is thin or poor, we drill through to deeper limestone and sand formations. Our well-log history across the region tells us where that's worth doing.
Irrigation & Ag Wells
Large-diameter, high-yield wells for pasture, crops, livestock, and landscape irrigation, built for long seasonal run times rather than short household bursts.
What a new well costs
Well drilling is priced per foot — typically $25 to $65 per foot for a complete installation, with $25 to $35 per foot a good guideline for most jobs. Because true depth isn't known until we drill, we give you a transparent per-foot rate up front instead of a vague flat quote. Most Central Texas homeowners invest $3,000 to $15,000 in a complete new well and pump system.
