Welcome to Sterling Ridge

Licensed & Trusted Water Well Experts in Central Texas

For more than 45 years, Sterling Ridge Well Drilling & Pump Co. has been the name Central Texas families, ranchers, and builders trust for clean, dependable water. What started in 1978 as a single rig and a handshake promise is now a third-generation family business with over 12,000 wells drilled across Bell, Coryell, Williamson, and surrounding counties. We drill new residential and commercial wells, install and repair pumps and pressure systems, and treat problem water — all with our own crews and our own equipment. No subcontractors, no shortcuts, and no surprises on your invoice. When you call us, you talk to a real person who knows the ground under your property.

  • Third-generation, locally owned
  • Our crews, our rigs — never subcontracted

Well Drilling & Pump FAQs

Forty-five years of answering the same good questions. If yours isn't here, call us — you'll reach someone who actually drills wells.

  • Most water wells are priced per foot — typically $25 to $65 per foot for a complete installation, with $25 to $35 per foot being a good guideline for most jobs. In Central Texas, a complete new well and pump system usually runs between $3,000 and $15,000 depending on depth, geology, and equipment. Because we don't know your exact depth until we drill, we quote an honest per-foot rate up front — never a vague flat price.
